The Oath of the Vayuputras

The Oath of the Vayuputras (Shiva Trilogy, #3)The Oath of the Vayuputras by Amish Tripathi
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Well I was just a bit disappointed with the final book in the Trilogy , it was not as good as the first two books , specially the second book which was awesome with pace and story line. The fact that a lot of space and time was given to describe a lot of structures in different places . I have to say at one point I got lost in the names of the places. Also the fact not much was told about the lab for Somras which was the main point in the last part was a bit of a downer . It was as if Amish just wanted the story to end a bit quickly by using the weapon . I don't mind reading a long book but the pace should be nice , it should not end too hastily . Also , I couldn't understand why Sati gave two different messages to her sons . I mean I couldn't understand this part . Sati was the hero of this book according to me  and the use of the weapon by Shiva to avenge her death showed his human side and love for his wife . Overall , a good trilogy , never thought something like this would come from an Indian author , no disrespect to Indian authors :) . I am glad I was surprised by this Trilogy :) :). Easy and simple style to writing and pretty easy to connect with today's world and our lives . As the author showed in the trilogy , Har Har MahaDv ( Each one is God ) :) :).
